Ditch & Switch BB Cream

𝐃𝐢𝐭𝐜𝐡 & 𝐒𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐜𝐡 𝐁𝐁 𝐂𝐫𝐞𝐚𝗺

Any of you ladies like to have a light-coverage moisturizing foundation or like to use BB cream?

Here’s some of the common ingredients in BB creams:

X 𝐏𝐫𝗼𝐩𝐲𝐥𝐞𝐧𝐞 𝐆𝐥𝐲𝐜𝗼𝐥

Known skin irritant and is frequently associated with contact dermatitis

X 𝐏𝗼𝐥𝐲𝐬𝗼𝐫𝐛𝐚𝐭𝐞 80/20 & 𝐏𝐄𝐆𝐬

Ethoxylated ingredients which may be contaminated with 1, 4 dioxane, a known human carcinogen even in small amounts

X 𝐅𝐫𝐚𝐠𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞

A list of potential ingredients that is 3,164 chemicals long. Every 1 in 20 of those ingredients on this list are a “high” hazard to humans and 1 in 6 “moderate” hazard. Side effects ranging from hormone and endocrine disruption, skin irritations, respiratory issues, fertility issues and cancer.

X 𝐏𝐡𝐞𝐧𝗼𝐱𝐲𝐞𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐧𝗼𝐥

A common ingredient used as a “natural” preservative that can cause reproductive damage if absorbed through the skin as well as nervous system depression, kidney damage, skin irritation, headaches, dizziness, nausea and drowsiness.

X 𝐉𝐚𝐩𝐚𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐞 𝐇𝗼𝐧𝐞𝐲𝐬𝐮𝐜𝐤𝐥𝐞 𝐄𝐱𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐜𝐭

Sounds harmless, but its chemical makeup almost replicates that of parabens which have estrogen-mimicking properties and is linked to breast cancer.

Here’s a safe swap for you:

1 pump Crunchi’s Primer mixed with 1 pump of their foundation.

X Octinoxate

X Octisalate

Which can create harmful byproducts that enter our bloodstream in as little as one day, and have been shown to be endocrine disrupters and harmful to coral reefs.
